7月1日，《加勒比海盗5：死无对证》将于日本上映。作为同属于航海类的作品，今年《海贼王》也将和《加勒比海盗》展开合作，在7月献上一份惊喜大礼。
今年8月，《海贼王》将迎来原作连载20周年。借助着《加勒比海盗》最新电影上映这个契机，官方让路飞与杰克这两位人气船长展开合作，上演一幕梦幻的冒险大戏。
根据介绍，本次《海贼王》将和《加勒比海盗》推出联动共演企划，并在今年夏季惯例的“御台场大家的梦大陆2017”舞台正式亮相，时间为7月15日至8月31日。除此之外，《海贼王》还将在会场开辟专门的展示角落，为观众们呈现出连载20年一路走过的轨迹。
